Complete our short parent survey to tell us about your child, their interests, and your availability. We’ll use your responses to create small groups and follow up with placement options using the contact information you provide.
Hands-on Learning with Horses
Hold Your Horses is entering our fifth year of providing homeschool programming in Henderson. Our programs bring children together for meaningful horse interaction, hands-on learning, outdoor activities, creativity, movement, and time with friends.
Designed for students 4 and older. All classes are facilitated by owners Kim and David. Groups are thoughtfully created based on children’s ages and interests, with a maximum of six students.
Children May Explore
Horse science, anatomy and care
Reading, writing, and vocabulary through horses
Math through measurement and real-life horse care
Art and creative activities
Nature and outdoor exploration
Horsemanship, riding styles, and equipment
Teamwork, communication, confidence, and problem-solving
Plenty of hands-on time with horses
Program Options
Single Sessions
1.5 hours each week for four weeks, with riding during the fourth week.
$180 per child
Double Sessions
2.5 hours each week for four weeks, with riding included each week.
$350 per child
